Solar Eclipse 2024

There is the date of the next Solar Eclipse that will be passing through the US, so you might want to mark that down on your calendar.  This year’s eclipse stretched from Oregon to South Carolina, while the next one will stretch from Mexico into parts of Canada and Northeastern parts of the US.

 

It is never too soon to start planning considering some of the problems that we experienced this year.  Be sure to get authentic Solar Eclipse Glasses to protect your eyes while viewing an eclipse.  Authentic eclipse glasses will have ISO stamps of approval and lense corners will be curved. A lot of people traveled during 2017’s eclipse to be in the path of totality. Here is a list of upcoming solar eclipses that can be viewed outside of the US in the next several years.

2019:  South Pacific, Chile, and Argentina

2020:  South Pacific, Chile, Argentina, and South Atlantic

2021:  Antarctica

2026:  Arctic Region, Greenland, Iceland, and Spain
